Description
describe the object
In this black and white print, Clement Bernard Haupers depicts three women in front of a sign reading 'Hotel.' Standing close together, the figures form a rough triangle, with the woman in the middle standing taller than her two companions. The woman on the left looks outward towards the viewer, while her two companions direct their gaze at her. Varied markings on their clothing allude to different textures, including fur and knitted fabric. The woman on the left wears what looks to be a flower on her collar, while the woman on the right has a pearl necklace around her neck. Each figure wears a dark cap.
