In his print <em>The Street</em>, Philip Guston depicts various abstract blocks falling out of the sky. In a pile near the bottom edge are soles of shoes, pieces of wood with nails through them. Near the upper left corner, a large gloved hand grips a black poll. Tall buildings peak through the debris in the lower left and right edges.
