Notes
A linga is an abstract sculpture of the Hindu deity Shiva who is represented as a phallus. A yoni is a symbol of the Hindu goddess Shaktit that, in sculpture, is represented by a spouted dish. Traditionally, a linga is placed within a yoni representing the union of Shiva and Shaktit.
